Pipefish

Hello all,

I am looking into getting Pipefish in the future. I was wondering have anyone had better luck with a certain type? Do they do better in pairs or solo? I was also wondering what types have you had the best luck with them eating frozen foods?

Will they do fine with two P. clowns and a Six line wrasse?

grahamsn; dragon face pipefish seem to do pretty good and are sometimes offered in mated pairs.The clown and especially the wrass will out compete the pipefish for food.They are slow methodic feeders much like seahorses.

Ok thanks for the advice. Might have to set up a nano tank sometime for these than.

I would agree with Brett. 6 Lines can be very aggressive. If the pipefish are smaller, they may end up an expensive treat for the 6 Line.
