So tonight I picked up a school of Chromis's and a pistol shrimp to pair with my watchman goby and after it snapping at me while getting stuck breaking through the bag I am worried about it in the tank, I have a 75 gal with mixed corals, a mimic tang, clownfish pair, watchman goby, and a cleaner a cleaner and peppermint shrimp, should I be worried about it killing any of these or breaking the glass?

I'd advise finding out this type of information BEFORE making a purchase in the future. Pistol shrimp will make a lot of noise that sounds like your tank cracking. However, they won't actually break your glass. They also won't go after fish or other shrimp in your tank. I would do some research to make sure you have the appropriate substrate for your shrimp too.

I have about 4 inches and it has resided in one of my old jawfish burrows

Since we are on the subject. My pistol will come out and eat from my tweezers. Have not tried my hand yet.

I'd be careful about hand feeding, since they usually will snap at their prey in the wild. IDK if you'd get hurt from them snapping at your fingers but...

Haven't been able to take any pictures yet although it did snap at me while we were performing surgery on a plastic bag it got its way out of but got stuck halfway through it  and i could feel it from about a foot away, but i can see a mound of sand behind my rocks in the back and i assume its not going anywhere soon lol

I heard that the snap is actually made by the sound barrier being broken, and it is this force that stuns it's prey. I can imagine being hit by it would be like hitting your hand with a ball pin hammer. Ouch!

Does it look like this one? This is a randalls I had awhile back.

The PS that actually eat fish/other shrimp are not usually seen in the hobby. If you ever watch any vids of pistol shrimp going after fish, they're much bigger. IIRC, most collectors only go for the ones that are paired up with a goby, so as to sell them for more money either with the goby, or as a shrimp that will undoubtedly pair with another goby.

On another note, I found my PS in my sump last week. I have no idea how it would have climbed up 1.5' to go into my overflow. Not only that, but the opening on my drain for the overflow is smaller than he is. Either way, I got him back up top with his buddy (YWG) and he's good.

On another note, here's mine:

No, I think you showed me a pic of your of your YWG. But you might of ahwile back when we were talking about putting the PS and YWG in a piece of PVC and put it under nieth the rock u want.

Oh well, either way. I never ended up doing that PVC idea, did you? I just like the fact that mine will pop in random spots around the rocks. Just glad that everything is on pillars that are glued to eggcrate on the bottom of the tank lol.

I got my goby and PS at diffrent times but I tried it with my goby but he hatd going into the PVSC so even though I got him in there he swam away as soon Iunblocked his way out. I tried it again with the PS and he didn't like it either so he would dig undernieth the rock and move. But I was luck and they picked a rock out front and stayed there. Even when I would re-scape or move the tank they would pick a rock up front and make thiere burrow right in front so I see them when ever I go to my tank.
