Please help Id

Im having most of this algae in my Fuge. But it looks like it might be coming into the main tank. It seems to cover up some of the Zoas and has to be manually blown or picked off. Its a red Film.
Whatever it is any suggestions on how to get rid of it.


Also have some sort of Green Algae starting on my Blue spotted Monti Cap. Any Ides what that could be?

cyano?i had a yellow tang before and eats cyano and any other algae,diatoms,red stringy algae,hair algae u name it..though i sold it..

i currently have a small yellow tang and eats hair algae,slimy brown algae and those red striny algae...cleaned off my tank..

my tank is clean right now but with the tangs diet,i dont want my nitrates to go up because of his feeding habit...so i hope u can get him and he can help u.

Ridding of it would include adding flow, inverts , or a media reactor.

cyano !!! When I had it I increased flow and adding some prime helped me out

when i had cyano before i dose brightwells mb7 and reef bio fuel...and went away..and yes on more flow

Yes, more flow will help but you need to starve it or it will return regardless. Big water change and reduced feeding = less Nitrates & Phosphates. Are you using ro/di ?

Is that Cyno covering your Cheato in your fuge, or is it just a red seaweed?
