plenum-dsb in 125 gallon reef

I shall make a 125 gallon reef for the next 4-5 months!!! .Can anyone convince me not to employ a Plenum system throughout my entire tank's bottom!!!!!!!!!I heard B.Goemans convert at least the 2/3rds of the entire surface of the tank as a plenum space .I don't have this space in the sump , so I will do the plenum to the main tank instead.What do you think about it?

I was looking at doing a similar system in my tank as an upgrade from a DSB...but I was forced to move the tank early, so now it's BB....

Some of the options I was looking at for the plenum were a crushed live rock substrate...2-5mm diameter...and a passive wasting capibility in the plenum itself...here are some links to what I discussed with others here...
