I just picked up a 100gallon acrylic tank that has 5 holes drilled in for the returns. Im going to block the two bottom ones off so i can add sand to the tank. But i may re drill the holes a little higher. When i was picking up the tank the guy had moved all the plumbing stuff to his other tank and he had this 6 way thing for his return. Where can i find something like that. or how do i get the one pump to push water to all 6 return holes with out having to use a bunch of y's? and im still not sure if i want to use pvc pipe or hose yet either

I am assuming that was Fairlans tank?
if so he ran an Oceans Motions 8way with a hammerhead pump. you can make a manifold to run all 6 if you like, however with all 6 running you will need a massive pump to get good velocity through them. otherwise go to oceansmotions.com and look into a 8way. beware the unit with all pluming can run you a good $1500

Cheers!

I cant remember the guys name off hand who i got it from. but he was super good guy, the tank was PSAS september tank of the month. im going to plug off two of the holes and just run 3 maybe for if i use the hole on the top of the tank in the middle. ill take sum pics tonight or tomorrow. Oh and yes it had both a closed loop and a regular over flow and closed loop system. and the pump i have is a gen-x-30. hopeing to get away with that. or a mag18 that i seen someone on here selling
And thanks for that website by the way.

easiest way is just to put a bulkhead in and cap it.
