I added a bag of pods to my sump last night. My question is, won't they just end up in my filter sock?

I will add them to the refugium/sump, and some to the tank. They will get sucked up into the return pump and transported to the tank. They will get into the rocks and stay there and multiply, but yes some will end up in the filter sock. Not to worry, there will be plenty in no time. Are you feeding a wrasse? A mandarin goby?

Do you have macro algae and rubble rock in your sump? If so they will live in it and multiply.
I have live rock but no macro algae.

Yes I'm feeding a Six line wrasse. I added them to the sump about 2 hours before the lights went on this AM. You could see a ton of tiny pods in the tank is why I was thinking they would end up In the filter sock.
