OK :bump" back to the top on this one. North Sound Reefers please respond to this poll so we can properly prepare for the number of peeps showing up. Mike & Karens place is only about 1/2 mile South of Mill Creek and maybe 5 minutes off I-5 (164th St exit) or I-405 (Canyon Park exit).

I will be there. My husband may come along. I will be driving and can two more to barrier if needed. Three if my husband desides not to go. I'll warn you though, my back seat does not have a lot of leg room. BUT its available.

Voted yes to come to the BBQ, but will be driving to BRA with my son and hubby on our own. I'd offer a carpool, but with all the baby stuff in the car, I think I have maybe one seat available, right next to me inbetween the driver's and passenger's seat. You'd have to be someone reeeeeeeeally comfortable with my hubby to sit that close!

When is the BBQ? I'm not from the Seattle area, but I'm always looking for an excuse to get over there. Is it open to anyone here on the forum or just members in the Seattle area??

I still need to know the "where & when" lol Knowing my luck it will be at a time I have other obligations....but if not, I'd seriously consider driving over....gives me an excuse to see family, visit a few fish stores, and meet some other poor souls who share my addiction (our tanks).....lol

Looks like the BBQ is starting to come together. We are prepared for and anticipating (hoping for) a large turnout. Do not be concerned about how long of a stay, who you are bringing, or who you already know. This is simply a fun family gathering of good people with a common interest to eat, drink, and chat about anything.

Our backyard deck is equipped to handle a party of 100+ people. Many who have confirmed are bringing family and friends, this is wonderful. Jeff says he is interested in Barbecuing up a Pork roast for pulled pork sandwiches. Karen and I are grilling chicken, and have a small keg of home barley beverage. With all the potluck stuff that shows, should be a blast and I look forward to meeting and making many new friends.
