my 120 gallon has some poopers, a 4 inch foxface a 3 inch niger, 4 inch puffer and 6 inch lunar wrasse, plus a couple damsels. i also have a pencil urchin and chocolate chip starfish. what and how many detritus eaters could i add? ive heard serpent stars and sand sifters are good for that.

Keep in mind poop-eaters poop "poop" too ;)

If you are getting detritus build up I think mechanical or manual removal is the best way to go. Increased random flow could also help keep the junk suspended until whatever means of filtration you have can do its job..

I hear Conchs like to eat the junk, but throwing livestock at the build up just adds another cycle of pooh.

I think I've read "Everyone Poops" a few too many times...
