Porcupine puffer and frogspawn

Hello,
I posted this in the fish forum but Lee isn't familiar with reefs (but she it still awesome!!). I would love to have a Porcupine Puffer, but I have hammer and frogspawn. Will a puffer eat these? Would it work if I got a small porcupine puffer and he grows up around the frogspawn and hammer?

I would say should be ok it says on most all sites reef safe no but that is leaning to wards inverts and other fish. they are poisonous so be cautious there also.
