Help Support Reef Aquarium & Tank Building Forum:

I have comcast and you get a free 25meg web site per email address. I just post the photos to it and then link to it. It works well plus its fast, no banners popups ect.

you can use the "insert image" button on the advanced post screen...it will pop up a place to put the url of the picture location.....then you will see the code written out on the screen, simpy go beneith it and type what you want, then repeat..make sense? or did I just confuse you more?

is this something you have to be a premium member to do? I dont see an advanced post screen..

Hey Matt,

Do you have an ISP that allows you space on their server?

If so, do you know how to upload to it?

As far as posting full pics on the forum... at least the way I do it is upload pics to my personal webspace at my ISP.

Then I type my message on the forum like I am doing now... I like to 'go advanced' mode so I can preview.

When you want to insert a pic that you have already uploaded you simply click the 'insert image' icon above where I am typing and paste in the internet address of the picture. I do this by opening a separate window and go to the pic I want to import. Then I simply copy/paste the address in the 'insert image' pop up window.

Then you can preview your message and format, add text, etc. I hope this helps.

no premium membership needed...right below the quick reply box you can hit "go advanced" the image button is also in the quick reply box....its the one with the sun and mountain....but like Mark said, you can preview it in the advanced box......I e-mailed you what the code on Ricks post will look like typed out.....

here is an attempt..
