Posting Pics...?

Can someone help me post pics on here? I have them saved to my computer but when I try to put them on my threads or ads they either do not show up or only show up as a url path to the pic. I swear I am not computer illiterate! I just cannot figure out what the heck is going on... going to try on this thread to show you what I am talking about... ok so that should be a picture... I have seen everyone else on here posting pics. Please tell me what I am doing wrong! Thanks everyone

We are easy going crowd here and love to answer questions even repeat ones. I have been opn forums that will delete your thread if the question was asked before but not here so ask away.
