yeh so my mate bought a PS3 yesterday and to tell u i dont think it was that great i mean i know we were playing lunch games but i kinda expected more it was bloody expensive $950au if i had to choose between my wii and a ps3 i would choose my wii the graphics are not as good but pretty close but the game play is way more fun the transfomers game on wii is kick ass but having to play it on a ps3 pad i dont think would be as enjoyable
i have also been told the ps3 is not selling well here mainly because the blue ray is so expensive
that another subject hd VS blue ray my boss whos tv mad reackons he couldnt see much if any differnce between hd and analog tv?

just want to know who owns ps3 here and think there that great? i mean the graphics were good but it didnt make me go holy sh!t thats impressive it didnt have the wow factor i thought it was going to have
i think ill just keep my wii which is alomost 500 bucks cheaper

+1 on the XBOX 360.

Although motorstorm is a fun game for PS3...

Its most likely that the games that have just recently come out aren't quite tapping the potential of the PS3's graphics. It seems like all the games that come out way later in the stages of a platform's run tend to be much more visually appeasing.

IDK if you're into this sort of game but the graphics are way good.

The video has some FMV and some actual gameplay so its something to look forward too (at least for me)

And if you want the best all around graphics, go build yourself a bad@$$ PC. Something with a dual core 2 processor, GeForce GTX card, run Vista, etc. and get this game:

Here's comparisons for Direct X 9 vs 10

yeh my mate spent 4000 dollars and got 4 dual core proccesors its a beast i wouldnt buy a 360 my mates died after a year and 2 weeks and he looked after it really well for the price i would go wii over and over again i dont think u can beat the game play on it

motorstorm was good i did enjoy playing that game but its only 1 player what gives with that some one was not thinking alot about that and it took awhile to load games too like way more time then i had thought it would

i was always a sega boy but now they dont have a console im back to my old nintendo habbits i had a NES and sega megadrive (genesis)

i own a ps3 and i love it. you need to research games. there are alot of games out there that dont use the ps3's potential. and the thing with blueray is you have to have a 1080 hi def tv or it wont look any better.

I would stick with your wii or get a 360.The ps3 is way over priced and way over marketed on its capablities. Yes the 360 has its glitches but its just as powerful as the ps3 and also has great customer support. I had my 360 go out on me after a yr (I also knew a couple of peeps it happened to also ) but agian microsoft will rectify the problem with no hassles ( except the wait getting your machine back) ever since the problem I never had any since.

oh yeah and besides hd dvd and blu-ray dvd are still in a battle with each other on who will be here to stay. You know like BETA and VHS did back in the film ware days. Although i think blu-ray will win out because there are so much more support for blu-ray right now and also capale of holding more data(although I think its just the name that is more catchy rather that the product itself) You really can't tell any difference between hd and blu-ray.

well if i had my way i would have both. each sytem comes out with exclusives; halo3 for x box, metal gear for sony, and xbox seems to pump out a very high volume of games. the only reason i own a ps3 is cause i got a tremendous deal[ i also know some peeps] but now that i have one i am very glad i do. however if sony wants to be competitive they must come down in price
