So my return pump just went out on my 240 :(. But that is okay, because i needed another one anyways since it was just a submersible one that pumped about 2000gph (max flow) and i dont think that is enough. Since i have never had anything but submersibles, i would like to go with a "in-line" but have no idea wich one i should get. I saw that the gen-x had pretty good deals

thanks in advance. (price isnt too big of a deal, but would like the best value ;) )

Dolphin ampmasters are great, the ampmaster 3000 is 3000 gph and is almost silent and uses only 140 watts. they run like $250..

Heard great things about both Ampmaster's and Sequence. Good luck and let us know how you like whichever pump you end up going with:)

If you get the Dolphin make sure it has the abrasive proof seal. The Ampmasters are great pump, very quiet, very efficient but the standard seals suck like nothing else.
