Purigen. What micron size bag?

So I started using Purigen a while ago... I had no idea the stuff was so damn tiny!

I had a few standard bags on hand which obviously turned out to be totally inadequate. Ended up going and buying some $1 nylons, and triple layering it to keep the Purigen beads from escaping. I however think the thick material is kind of restricting the flow through the media. Do they make bags fine enough to hold this stuff(i'm pretty sure they do)? If so, what micron? Thanks!

Just get a 180 - 200 micron mesh bag. I might add SeaChem sells a bag just for this stuff.

The 100 ml size comes encapsulated in its own little baggie that's tougher than about any mesh bags I've seen out there.

That is the same material there "The Bag" is made of.

Purigen

Yeah that's stuff is sooooooooooo small I have some but it didn't come with a bag. One guy at Petsolutions, told me that you can use a stocking. It still works and you don't have to buy a baggie.
