is there a pvc device that connects two pipes that you can unscrew if you need to move your tank? i think i saw some in a few pictures. wouldve saved me some hassle if thats what they are, i saw a few in the tricked out 40 gallon thread in the tank design forum. home depot looked at me like i was an idiot.....

Sounds like a union, connects to the pipe on one side via glue and on the other side via a big threaded lockring. I have them all over my tank so I can take things apart whenever I feel the urge.
