PVC glue time

How long before I allow my aquarium water to flow thru fresh glue?

The can states that you can pressurize after 2 hours. So would you say that it could be sooner since there is no pressure to speak of or could there still be a contamination factor before that 2 hour time period?

Did you also use the primer? You can safely use in about 20-30 minutes. I've done it in 15-20.

I haven't done anything yet. I plan to this weekend. And yes I will use primer. I do not believe in not! I have done nearly a mile of pvc. ( Irrigation systems)

I just do not want to cause any water issues in the tank.

I used to install sprinkler systems and we would use Rain-r-shine, I'm hooked on it for life. If it's PVC to PVC NO primer needed and I run water after about 15 min., never a leak
