so im about to plumb a 200gallon tank i plumbed my 100g with the overflows all spa flex and the return pump with all pvc mostly cause it was easy and i had a few long peices of pvc. Is there any benefit from useing one over the other?? i need to do 3 overflows a return and maybe a closed loop

I have used both on the last two installs Ive done. I use spaflex where I dont wan't elbows and for ease of plumbing in awkward places. Id recommend using both. PVC is much less expensive. Also, spaflex AFAIK helps reduce vibration noise.

Although easier I have never had good luck with Spa Flex in multiple applications but many have never had any problems it will never be on any of my tanks though.
