It's my experience that none of them are reef-safe. You also need to have a very large tank with overkill filtration to handle their bioload. You also pretty much need a separate tank to grow live sponges to supplement their diet.
thank you all... to date, i have never had any problem with a red flame angel, a beauty angel and pigmy angel nipping on corals... is it because they are considered dwarf angels and thus safe for reef vs. other angels?
