Question about copper

Ive read you dont want a tank that was ever treated with some sort of copper medication. Does this go for Acrylic too? Or just glass cause the silicon
can absorb it or something? Im looking at a used acrylic tank to use for a sump, thats why Im asking and I dont know the history of the tank.

Nope dont worry about it, Boomer covered this one along time ago. Its not the big deal that lots of people think it is.
