Question about lighting

Can i have some opinions please?I have a 65gal 36x18x25 tank and i would like to know if a single 400w metal halide will give me enough coverage or if it is too much?

If you get a Luminarc III and hang it high with a 400 you should get plenty of coverage to use only one MH over that tank. You can also use a 250 but will have to keep it lower causing dark edges.

you cant choose your lighting before you list your prospective corals my friend... how else will you know and address what they need? It varies widely.
