I got my velvet slug yesterday and so i turned off all my powerhead, i waited 2 hours for him to get acclimated and so as soon as i put him into the tank he ate some flatworms and he kept wondering around i was very happy about it, but then at night he kept going to the little box where the water goes to my sump i saved him twice and i tried staying up with him, but then around 1 i fell asleep :( and so this morning i looked for him and he was stucked in the tuve that goes to my sump i put him back in my tank and he seems to be fine.
is there anyway i can cover the box where the water goes to my sump? or am i gonna have to stay up with him ? :|

You could try using some gutter guard or some eggcrate material and a little super glue gel.

This is gutter guard and I get it from Home Depot. A roll is about 6" wide by 10' or so. I think it's about $6.

Im not sure the gutter guard will be small enough to keep the slimy little buggers out. You might try filter floss from any local fish store. Cut it to size and rubber band/zip-tie it to the overflow teeth.

Thank you guys :) now i can finally get some sleep.
one more thing that i wanna ask, i have a long tentacle anemone and i was wondering would the anemone try eating it?
