I'm going to change my sump, and with that my skimmer configuration. Currently using an Aerofoamer 848, 8" diameter, modded with an additional mid section making it 68" tall. It has a single beckett being pushed by an iwaki 100. The skimmer is in the 1st chamber in the sump with a bulkhead for the iwaki. Skimmer works well but there are alot of large bubbles.

I am thinking of removing the additional mid section on the skimmer and using the sedra 15000 needle wheel pump. I cannot find any info on the pump. Does this pump push enough water to be used on it's own or is it just to create bubbles? How many gph does it move? I saw this vid and was pretty impressed.

Any info would be appreiciated. BTW, the tank is a 325 + a 40 gal frag tank.
