My wife noticed these little "bugs" crawling around in a patch of hair algae, or what I think are pods. I tried to find some pictures of them on the net and didn't have much success. Is it common to see them in a patch of hair alage? I probably saw 4-5 in a square inch, I just want to make sure this isn't something to be worried about. Thanks.

ohh doood the pictures are horrible
i don't care if they are good, but they are some ugly looking things
Thanks so much Clay, now i'm gonna be having nightmares
just kidding dood :D

My god, the approaches to removing these from your tank, that Mr. Shimek proposes, are absolutely horrific! I'm amazed, that if all of this true, that we haven't heard about it from a plethora of other sources.

This is of course in response to the "more" button at the bottom of the predatory isopod pictures.

Any comments on this? ;)
