So got a decent setup for free along with the pc lights i got for my tank. It was missing a few water line parts, a quick trip to the hardware store and i got it working. Well sorta.

From what i can tell it has a 50gpd ro filter in it based off the part number. Has a 1 and .5 micron filter before it. Now i realize that ro means that there is going to be a sizable amount of waste water. But what i am trying to figure out is this, what is a average waste to ro water ratio?

Because the waste water is flowing, but the ro side is well dripping... and not a fast drip at that. So first question how much does temp have to do with flow? im running of the hose right now, which is running at about 45F or so. Also how much does PSI have to do with the rate of the ro?

The guy i got this setup from he had only used if for about 50 gallons or so for a small setup.

So i guess what i am trying to figure out is if the filter could be bad or what just doesn’t seem to be right...

Any and all help appreciated
