R/O Units

Hi In need of a little help.
Looking to buy an R/O unit ( UK ) it is getting a bit expensive buying R/O water for 4 tanks.. On product description of two stage unit it says removes 99.9% of impurities, as does the 3 stage unit, as does the 4 stage unit. What are the extra units and are they worth the extra money if they all remove the same amount of impurities.

All will remove dissolved solids, the DI units also remove dissolved ions if present. Not always needed.

Hi and thanks for answer,
I am truly sorry I am a complete idiot when it comes to R/O units. Have always bought from LFS and tested. Am I better going for a larger stage unit ie a 4 instead of a 2. Is the difference in quality of the water that much better for the extra money. I do not need a high gallonage unit but if its better to get the bigger unit I will do so. Again any advice really appreciated.

Seems the best bang for the buck is the 75 GPH units. If you can get a RODI for just a little more than the RO, go for it. I know shipping is slow and spendy, but The Filterguys have some excellent product for fair value and are reliable. Good hunting!
