Hi all

I bought a rabbit fish , all yellow , about 4 days ago. I havent been able to get him to eat. He is the biggest fish in tank and hides a little and stays on one side of tank. No fish is bothering him and i see him attempt to eat flakes or brine but no heavy eating.

I have tried, flakes , pellets , brine, mysis, and krill. Is this common for rabbit fish ? Should i try other food ?

any info will be appreciated

I strongly urge the use of a quarantine process for such fishes. A good quarantine process isn't just to verify health, it is to further acclimate the fish to captive living. Was the fish eating when you bought it? What was it eating?

The following articles and posts are good reads when you have the time:

Should I buy that fish?

Remember the fish is a herbivore:

And the fish may respond to different ways to present the same food:

Good luck!
