Well Im just the Nanny for this tank. Its my job to maintain it. Sofar this hsa been fun but rather challenging. I dont exactly have the funds to do things right, so I improvise a lot.
Its a 300 gallon softie tank plummed into a 100 gallon sump with 2 75 gallons on each side.
Here is the tank before I aquascaped it this weekend.


Heres how it looks now. I added some new arches on the left side and opened up the front a lot.

May I ask if you used any zip ties, epoxy etc for aquascaping? I am in the process of aquascaping and wondering if I can just "stack" rocks and still have a good-looking and stable rock work.

I didnt use anything to secure the rocks. I did spend about 3 hours making sure I had the best balancing pieces. This is really important. I usually just push and knock them gently to make sure that they are stable. It takes a lot of practice. It helps if you have someone who can help you, that way you can have your hands on the rocks with their eyes looking and telling you how to move them. I did this one by myself and it took a long while. It helps if you can lean some points against the back. dont put it all resting on the back for flow reasons, but every once and a while if it will help stabalize then its ok. I have used zip ties in the past as well as epoxy. Im not a big fan of the epoxy because its a tad too permanent for me. Zip ties work, but can be rather unsightly.
