Racoon B'fly question

I'm looking to buy a racoon butterfly to munch on my green hair algae. I was told there's 2 kinds of racoon butterfly, one that eats gha and one that doesn't. Is this true, and if so, how do I tell them apart.

I have not heard of that...although i would be very cautious in adding one to a reef tank..they do munch on corals.
