there are 2 part mixes that are like playdough and hold well just beware you will see this stuff on the rock daily until it is cover in coraline or coral 
Yes superglue will work it's all a mater of bond time and glue location and waterflow I personally like glueing them to an acrylic rod that way i can drill a hole in a rock and if it doesn't work there I can just pull the rod out and move it

I personally have much better luck with the two part clay stuff. It covers up and looks just like rock for me... I've seen people use the IC gel like nothing and all i get is a mess and it all over my hands...

My fingers are coated in super glue now... I always try to be careful with the stuff, but always wind up getting it all over my hands lol Thanks for the info. I was pretty sure it was ok, but I didn't want to go add it to my new seahorse tank and hurt them... I was using it to glue various sea fans and other things...
Wanna hear something funny?? (it wasn't funnat at the time but it is now) Anyways, last week I was looking all over the house for the last bit of IC gel I had left. I searched for at least 15mins and finally gave up thinking I had thrown it away or something... Well, I heard this chomping and somehow this tube I had been searching for was in between my puppy's paws and she was chomping on it.... I FREAKED out and took it away from her, and cleaned up her mouth a bit. She had glue ALL over her tongue, her lips, and a little bit on her gums.... There wasn't that much glue left in the tube, but somehow she managed to get it all over herself.... Fortunately her mouth didn't glue shut (I really don't know how it didn't) and I called the vet in a panic. They told me to call poison control who informed me that it wasn't toxic (for a puppy) and that it dries into some form of plastic which isn't harmful... Talk about a sticky situation... lol

Cool Thanks!!! I can't tell you how many of those little glue bottles are lined up on a shelf in our shed... My husband used to fly and build R.C. planes soooooo we had like every type... I'll have to check out some of those stores cause I really like IC gel.
