Red Sea Berlin Classic modifications?

Hi everybody,

I've heard of people modifiying their Berlin Classic to increase their efficiency. I'm getting one of these from a friend for my 20G reef tank.

Please point me in the right direction as I've been trolling all the boards and all the search engines but I'm not finding anything.
