Reef Octopus BH-1000 What it's NOT removing!

I don't whether to be extremely disappointed/concerned or if this is actually normal for a skimmer.
I decided to add some floss to the return chamber and here are the results after 7 days. Wow!! Without the floss has all this been getting dumped right back into my tank? I believe so!!

First I would have to say that no skimmer is 100% efficent.
Compare the floss with what's in your collection cup. Then spread it over something white so that it has the same contrast.
Might not look like it's all that much over a 7 day period.
Looks like a good thing to add to your weekly maintenance schedule. (I would if I could)

I'm definitely keeping the floss in. It's no big deal changing it out once a week, not if I'm going to be getting those results.
