I had all my snails drop to the bottom one day...looked like the anemone was perishing ( had added him too soon). Returned him to the lfs as suggested here. He must have let off some toxins which did the snails in...my guess( input appreciated). Did about a 20% water change....what to do next? Thanks everyone for being so great ....sure the newbie stuff gets old. Super enthusiastic though...ya'll keep rootin me along!!!!!!:)

Keep doing the water changes & run carbon to help clear up the tank, do the WC's as soon as you can, also bigger the better. Last night in my 34g tank I was having a build up of Detritus, so I replaced over 80% of my 34G tank water. Everything perked up right away. The main concern it getting your temps to match & your salinity to match really close when your doing big water changes as suggested. Otherwise you should be fine!
I know it sounds like a lot but that is where having your own RI/DI unit & a rubber-maid tub on wheels comes in so handy, makes it much easier. I use a properly calibrated Refract. to get it right on.
