some of my mushrooms are going into a cupped shape was wondering if this was normal

hard to say.... but its usually from:

a) paning for light form aging lamps or low light in general (lack of carbon in water that ruins water clarity, salt creep on lamps or glass cover etc that is reducing light, etc)

b) they are not getting enough food (maybe starving) and they are trolling for prey and detritus

Agreed, great answer but help would still be appreciated even after the point was made. Thanks

fair/true indeed... and the post was not made to chastise you and stop there. We are here to help. But you (any of us) just cannot underscore strongly enough that you are responsible for what you keep (captive). The lives of these animals are not to be taken lighly. I'm bewildered that anyone ever takes an animal into their care without knowing what they require to live and if its possible to provide it.

All said, please provide us a picture if not a species description of what you have. The feeding advice ranges from disolved nitrate to chunk meat depending on if you have Ricordea though Rhodactis species.
