do you frag RICORDIA like you frag shroom?

Seascape two months ago was talking about fragging yuma rics. Said it was harder than normal shrooms. But that it did work. Cut and let heal is the gist I got from the article. It said that the tissue was alot harder to make a clean cut thru and recomended a very sharp blade and firm pressure to make a clean cut. Beyond that it seemed to be same as always. Stable clean water, good light, and coral that has been doing well in your system for a good amount of time. HTH Steve

They are 'mushroom' like , but ricordeas are not mushrooms.

Ricordea sp. and Discosoma sp. are two different things.

Might be easier to simpley settle of the term "Corallimorphs "

Anyway, the technique for fragging is much the same as fragging a typical "mushroom". Although with Ricordea it should been noted that being sure each piece contains a portion of the mouth will increase success.
