How do remove ricordia polyps from a rock?? I have a large rock with many polyps on it and would like to remove some...

One way I know is to break the rock. Hammer and chizel

I'd like to do it without breaking the rock, would like to just remove some polyps if possible.

Pull the rock out, use a razor blade and cut as close to the rock as possible. Then bridal veil (from a craft store) the ricordia down on some other rubble for a week or two until it attaches.

I use a chisel and try to get a little bit of the rock from under the foot. I found they take a lot longer to attach if you just slice them off, it's much easier to glue the small piece of rock under the foot to a new rock.
