I have a six stage RO/DI unit, with the 150GPD upgrade kit from BRS. Since it's set up I've run 4,000 gallons through the system without changing the pre filter/5m/.6m filters. I've noticed this last month that I've begun to grow a fair amout of green hair algae. My source water TDS reads 45, my product water reads 0 TDS. Can old filters still produce 0 TDS, but still contain Po4 and other compounds in the product water? My Po4 levels in the tank have been holding at .025ppm for about 2 months. Any thoughts?
