I've heard great things about their customer service and all. I've heard mixed reviews on the units themselves.

I've read quite a few negative things as well as positive things on Reefcentral regarding the units. You may want to do a search on there as they had a huge thread discussing issues/etc.

The filters you point look exactly (well, to extent of comparison of DI to bulky carbon and other filters at the bottom) the same size to me.

It doesn't say it is a DI unit only an RO which will give you 3-10 TDS (depending on the input TDS). Also the housings are white so you can't tell when the prefilters look bad. I also don't see a pressure guage and it doesn't mention anything about and adjustable flow restrictor so you can set the reject rate.
The prefilters should be 1 micron not 5 micron IMO.

As usual you get what you pay for. The price is about right for that type of unit.

Kevin

I have one. Bought it last year. I love it and it works great. Some of the fittings needed some teflon tape but other than that its an awesome unit for the price.

Christy :)

By the way, Kevin is correct - the unit you put link for does not have DI (though the one with DI looks pretty similar with just one more stage - 6th DI stage). So if you want RO/DI find similar one but 6 stage.

NUGIO - I see the difference on your unit :), but I guess I haven't tried enough units on their site - most of 'em look like AquaSafe's RO/DI - with DI about 1/2 volume of bottom filters.

I've got this unit 2006A, it works weel for me. 1-2 ppm it als includs a DI unlike the 2005A. They answered my questions when I did have one. After the set up I have been very happy with it.
