Hi, I recently moved up here from Tampa and started a new 15 gallon and I'm looking for a place to get some purified water.

I used to have an RO/DI filter for my bigger tank but I sold everything before I moved up here and I'm in a small condo now so I want to hold off on getting another one and setting all of that up until I get a house.

The guys at the Fish Store in the u-district said the tap water in Seattle was fine and I've been using distilled during the cycle but I'd feel more comfortable using RO/DI. QFC had some that was possibly RO/DI but it was pretty vague on the label.

They had places in grocery stores, wal-marts, and even in the middle of parking lots where you could fill up your own jugs in Tampa. Do they not have anything like that here?

Thanks,
Don

You can go over to whole foods a few blocks up from "The Fish Store" and get water at .39/gal . Cheaper then distilled but still way too much to be spending on water imo.
Secondly, avoid "The Fish Store". Dont listen to their advice and avoid their livestock. Their tanks make me cry. Barrier Reef is the closest(and the best =P) "REAL" reef store. There are also decent stores in Bellevue(Salt water city), Issaquah(Blue Sierra), and Lake stevens(Reef Mystique) to the north.

okay, i don't think any of the three I went to had any. Hadn't heard of these. Where's B-Reef? I couldn't find it on google maps. Thanks!
