Hey all,

I ordered one of the Aquasafecanada RO units off of ebay and got it today. (specifically the reef 2004R) Unfortunatly they have to email the instructions to you, which they didn't do. I sent them a message but I am sure they won't see it until Monday. I really hoped to get this bad boy hooked up and running this weekend for my W/C I wanted to do. Does anyone here have one of these units, and maybe still has the email version of the instructions???? if you do could you please email me with the file?????? [email protected]

Thanks if you can help, or even if you would if you could :D

Ok well hopefully it came with a saddle clamp so you can connect it to your water supply. If it did you just tighten it down over a copper pipe and then screw in the piercing deal, and water will flow! You connect this line to the input which will most likely be the JG fitting closest to the sediment filter. On the other side there will probably be a line that goes out of the last carbon and up to the RO membrane, which will have 2 outputs, 1 will be the rejected waste water and the other will be the RO, now if you have DI this will be connected to you DI unit. Now make sure that you have a valve to shut the thing down before you go and pierce your copper pipe. If you can post pictures we may be able to help more, but that should get ya going.

Tom (comes through again)

Hey bro thanks....actually I don't know why but they sent me the saddle clamp "and" the faucet hookup......:). I can't wait to get this up and running. Nice clean good water :D....I TDS'd my tap water last night and it was at 130 ppm...:p

A saddle clamp is used for the drain line. A self-piercing needle valve can be used on the supply line, as can a faucet adapter.

Resent, typed .com instead of .net. I really like mine. Hook up on the 12 pack of filters at the same time plus the xtra deion resin. Its a good deal. 109$ It seems to be a quality product and Ed is real helpful. Steve

Oh yeah on the faucet T hookup, I had to go and get a adapter from lowes I used my washer cold water supply and my washer drain in the garage. Next I am going to get the pressurized drinking water tank. getting tired of sharing my top off water with the coffee maker.

i got mine from Aqua safe awhile ago and have had no issues with it, quality unit at a great price.

Hey thanks again all. I was able to get it up and running (with the same adapter from Lowes ;) ) and its been working great.....
