RO Water-to-Product Ratio

For those with an RO or RO/DI, I am curious what your waterwater to product water ratio, here in the Pacific Northwest. My ratio on my RO/DI is close to 1:1, but typical is 4:1. I called a person at Spectrapure for an explanationtion and he felt 1:1 is great if you can pull it off. The relatively low total disolved solids (TDS) may be the reason. But what are other's observing here in Pacific Northwest. Thanks in advance.

Mine is about the same. It is all determined on what the TDS of the tap water. Here in the NW it is normally good. Mine is 30-35ppm. Contrast that to the 100ppm when I lived in CLT, NC.

my tap near the airport is 25-35 ppm..not too bad
