Rock anemone

This morning I noticed my green rock anemone was hiding a bit under a piece of rock. I though a critter may have moved the small rock down on it so I moved it just off the nem. I then noticed the nem was shaped kinda funny and though o here we go the nem got crushed and is messed up. So I spent most the day scrapping the back of the tank and cleaning it, and noticed the nem was splitting. In just a matter of a few hours the nem is almost totally split. O and never mind the algae problem, I just added 40 mexican red legs and 20 blue leg hermits today. They all took off after the algae like mad. The mexican hermits are even eatting Bryopsis.....YEEEEEEEaaaaa

Thats Great. So cool. I haven't seen many posts on rock anemonies, especially them splitting. Really cool.

Yeah its not often that they split, great pics!! Now if my red one would grow a little more and split!!!

I think one of my mini maxis is splitting too. It used to be on top of the rock and now its put it's self through the rock.

Yea Josh thats the one I got from you. Hasn't gotten any bigger just decieded to split I guess.

yep they never really get bigger then a quarter in size !!! look good when u get a few together on a rock
