I have just set up a new RODI system and have 2 questions. See the attached picture:
1. What is the blue shut off valve used for that is between the carbon filter canister and the RO canister? Seems to me that if I turn that valve off the flow through the system would be turned off.
2. To flush the RO membrane, do I turn the black flush valve all the way open and just let it run? The valve would be parallel to the waste water line. The flush valve is 90 degrees to the waste line during operation. How long do I let it run?
