I acquire a beautiful Rose bubble tip anemone a month ago. The anemone is doing great loves the place I put it in, keeps full inflated with all the bubbles etc. However my Scarlet Skunk Cleaner Shrimp (Lysmata amboinensis) seems to gravitate toward the anemone and spend a lot of time touching it, the anemone response is to retract the tentacles that the shrimp touch, I am wondering if the shrimp may pinch and hurt the anemone, the shrimp learned to touch it with just the very tip of the legs and the tip of the antennae so it does not get stick to it. Does anyone know by experience if the shrimp may pose a threat to the health of my Rose BTA?

i don't think they can kill or hurt an anemone in my own opnion.
i have a long tentacle and a cleaner and at the beggining when i first introduced the shrimp, it was always hanging by the anemone or on top of it, i believe for protection from my fishes :p ... but after a while it just decided to leave the anemone alone exept when i'm feeding it  .
I wouldn't worry about it unless someone says different.

Finding less shrimp in your tank some day would be my concern as well. I have a fairly large RBTA that's recently split. I've also got about 5 shrimp in my tank. They are very curious about the RBTA and attempt to steal it's food when I target feed it. I now target feed the shrimp a lil' before feeding the RBTA. I have seen the shrimp "almost" get caught by the RBTA several times and was ready to reach in and rescue them. Oh....did I forget to mention that I used to have 7 shrimp in the tank?? I honestly think the RBTA got a couple....lol.
