i have a 65 watt pc ballast with 4 wires comming off.
I know that a pc is nothing more than a bent florecent bulb.
So it should be able to run 2 25 watt T5ho's.

I am trying to decide on Series or parallel.
I am pretty positive that in Series (ballast - blub - bulb - back to ballast) This should fire right up but if one blows then then the other won't work. (no big deal for me)

OR Parallel Where I run each of the two pairs to there own light. In this way it would lower the current I am pretty sure. Possibly causing starting issues.

Anyone ?

Spoke with a electrician and if you run series it should pull the same amps as a 48 watt t5 and if you run parallel then you will pull 2 times the amps at startup which could heat the ballast. So either should be fine but series is the safer bet. If they don't fire then try parallel and check the ballast for any heat issues.
