The best thing you can do when looking for a particular animal is avoid using common names. It will narrow down your search to the more relevent topics when using scientific names. I would also suggest using scholar.google.com and a trip to the local library.
Thalassoma duperrey grows to be a very large and very active fish. It's behavior is very much like Thalassoma lunare. They are usually quite playful as juvi's but generally get a little more destructive and aggressive as they age. Usually that will be directed at the univalve population unless there are smaller meeker fish in residence. A 6 foot tank is not too bad for these guys but you find it may outgrow that in about 2-3 years.
Keep with large boisterous fish, nothing meek/docile. Can be kept with other wrasses that are not conspecies. Will leave corals alone but will attack bivalves, larger snails and crustacea. Unlike most wrasses, this species does not usually flip smaller rocks corals and tends to dart in and out of the rockwork tirelessly from dawn to dusk. Not a bad fish at all for an FOWLR set up.
