Salsaking's Project! "Pictures" Holy cow!! Alot of work.

I would first like to thank my friend Paul! As much as we butt head on ideas sometimes they sure do come together nicely in the end. This room is your room as well Paul. I would also like to thank Mike O'brien for his patience and guidance. If there is a way, he will figure it out. Thank you Mike. And to all who have helped me out lately with a few frags "Much Appreciated" Chuck, Bob, Paul, Mike. Thank you all for your help. I really appreciate it.

So here is a few pictures of the setup. I will start in the Sump Room first. I will then go to my office setup next, and finally the front office empty tank setup. The 500 gallon is empty for about a month while Paul, Mike and myself design a better water movement design. Also removed the DSB. Hope to see you all at the next meeting. Eric "Salsaking"

Sink and 1 1/2 piping coming in.

This is where the heart of the system is. I have "4" 1 1/2 pipes coming from the underground to the 525 gallon in the front office.

Paul Hamby and myself worked on this when the building was built in April 2003.

Refugium

This is the refugium. Have a PFO pendant hanging over the system. 175 watts.

The brains of the system.

Here is the brains of the system. Aquacontroller Pro. Works everytime.

Water quality.

Here is what keeps the water clean and Calcified. Starting from the left is a ETSS 1400 skimmer. Next is a Lifereef skimmer for the ozotech ozone reactor. Next is a Barr Aquatic Kalk stirrer. And finally the beast of all beast. The Deltec PF1000 Fluidized Calcium reactor. Cant wait to crank this baby up.

More stuff

This is the controls for the 2500 watt Heater, Chiller, And ph for the deltec reator. Also the top of the ETSS Skimmer.

LPS Tank

This tank is for LPS Frags only when it gets going. I have a Sun light supply t-5 lighting over this tank. Cool lighting design if you ask me.

T-5 Lighting Design

T-5 Lighting design by Sunlight Supply. There is 8 bulbs in this lighting design. The LPS tank is 4 feet long by 24 inches.

SPS Frag tank

This is the Sps frag Tank. About 160 gallons. I designed the tank, and John at IAP Built it. It has 2 4 foot Pfo pendants hanging over each side. 250 watt HQI ballast run 4 10k Ushios. 2 4 foot Actinis are in each ficture as well. The pendants have fans on both side of them as well. Great design PFO "Thank you" PFO and Robert Lindsey "Fish out of water" The left side light is out as I do not need it at this time. This is where I will start to frag out when my 525 is full. Frag time anyone. The tank sits 18 inches tall as well. Easy to get in and out. Each tank, LPS and SPS tank have 2 sea Swirls on each side of them.

Entrance to room.

Thought this was a cool touch! Hippie beads when you enter. lets the cool air in and the hot air escape. This is the entrance to the Sump Room.

LPS And the left side of SPS Tank

Lps and the Left side of the SPS tank. Trying to keep everything clean and tidee.

SPS tank

Looking west at the SPS Frag Tank. Have the left side light off. Dont need it lit at this time.

LPS Sump

This is the sump for The LPS system above and the 125 gallon tank in my office. LPS Only. I'm using Chuck's aqua c skimmer. Works great. And using a Precision marine Calcium reactor I got from Paul H. Everything works great. The SPS Frag System runs on the larger sump. The 525 gallon system will only be sps as well. No toxins from the lps will affect growth and Pollup extensions.

LPS Tank in my office.

This is the LPS Tank in my office. Even though i cheated and put a few sps in. Could not resist. This is a 125 gallon system. Has a dual 400 Watt Pfo Ballast. 10k ushio's and "4" 4 foot actinics super blue run by a pfo ballast. System has been going a month.

Clam

I have had this clam for about three years now. Had it in my old 325 and survived the move. One of the few things that survived. He's my buddy. It's about 7 inches now.

550 gallon tank

Mike, Paul and I are designing the water movement parameters. And also removed the DSB. I do not like and empty tank.:(
