has anyone hear in the seattle area ever bought there salt water from the seattle aqaurium?? the sell it for 5 cents a gallon and its the same purified and filtered wateer they use in there tanks, i only have a 18 gallon so a bucket or 2 in the back of my truck is no big deal, but im wondering about the qaulity of it?

tagging along ... I've heard of people using it (my second cousin), but I'm surprised more people don't here on the forums. Sounds like a cheap alternative to wasteful RO/DI units and bottled distilled water.

My first thought was that it might be a cool idea. My second thought is what you save in salt mix you make up paying to park anywhere near the Seattle aquarium. I haven't done it and could be wrong so feel free to let me know if that isn't the case.
