Saltwater State Park -3.8 tide

So over the last few days we've had some pretty low tides which have made for some good photo ops for some local saltwater creatures. We'll, I'll let the pictures do the talking.

There were starfish pretty much everywhere. Several cucumber's. It was interesting watching the barnicles open and close in the tide pools. Pretty neat stuff.

I saw something similar on a beach in Newport, Oregon a few years ago and it was cool. There were little crabs and snails everywhere too.

Wow...nice shots. We love to go beach combing on minus tides.
