SCA-301 Protein Skimmer Review.

This is my first in sump skimmer. Rated for tanks up to 65g and was only $79.99.
I ran it for 48hrs in vinegar/water before adding it to my sump.

This skimmer is quiet! Very easy to adjust. Has a drain port and air diffuser muffler. The O ring on the collection cup makes for a very snug fit, yet the cup is easy to remove for cleaning.
I am very happy with this skimmer and highly recommend it.

This is just 2 days worth of nasty from my 3+wk old tank.

Surprisingly these SCA skimmers have done a decent job for there cheaper price line and several have mentioned how quiet they run. Thanks for the review and only for $79.99..?? Ebay? new or used.?.
