i had a scooter blenny. prob one of my favorite fish! Mine ate frozen and picked at the rock all day. If it dosent eat the prepared foods, try turning the lights off sometimes during feeding. It may just be a lil shy.

I haven't picked him up....yet :) I've asked the LFS to hold and watch him over the weekend to see if he eats prepared of any kind. They did say he has gone after the Rods complete, of which I have plenty. I was watching him for a little bit today and fell in love-lol. What an awesome lil fish. He was scooting around, picking at the rock/sand. Looking very healthy!

I'm excited at the prospect of a new fish!!! Only other fish in my tank are 2 Fire fish.

What an awesome lil fish. Sooooo nice to finally have an active fish to watch in my tank. All my FF do is hide :(
I also have a great sight where I've bought pods from in the past. Nothing but the best for this lil guy. LiveCopepods.com

If you're truly serious about 'the best' then stop feeding pellets.

ya im not a fan of pellets or flakes either. Brine shrimp is better or even mysis. Ur rods is great nana! The rest it like feeding kids popcorn or candy.

From what I've read I thought the Nutramar Ova was good for him, no? I know Pods are the best most natural but if I have to supplement whats best?

I've learned after reading Lee's thread that, brine shrimp and mysis are no no's. That it's Mysid shrimp we actually want. Omega 3 and HUFA are the best :)
